Another new song from Swedish dreampop group Beverly Kills, following the release of their recent single Sunset DriveSunset Drive, is unveiled. Hymn to You combines dreamy pop with the vibrant atmosphere of vintage Swedish indie rock to create a song that encompasses nervousness and buoyancy.
The song tells an emotional story about growing older while still feeling unidentified and insecure.
The band reveals: "It's probably quite universal that in one way or another, you grow out of the world you grew up in. Either you try to follow the beaten path, or you pave your own. The song is a reflection on the transition from the church's children's hours to teenage years at concert venues. You do the best you can, but it's damn hard nonetheless.”
