The second single from Thirds, the upcoming album by the reemerging, Ithaca, NY-based band, Eighteen Hundred and Froze to Death, is Wreck the Decks, a follow up to the recently revealed Elevens. Producer of the song is Jawbox's J Robbins.
The band delivers a fairly dense and punchy performance in their fresh, hard hitting noise rocker, which evidently goes through paths of slowcore, grunge, blues rock, and primal post rock sounds.
The new music of Eighteen Hundred and Froze to Death clearly reflects the heavier and more contemplative elements of alternative rock which make up the core of their sound. Each song released thus far has an immense impact and sounds incredibly powerful.
