Emergent shoegazers, Lilac Blister, follow their solid debut single, Astray, with another piece of dynamic and fuzzy shoegaze. Written and produced and by the band, Edges unveils some underlying hints of traditional Americana elements, as well as traditional pop qualities in the band's songwriting, and it becomes a superb forward step for the San Gabriel Valley-based trio.
Decency and raw talent are ingrained in the Lilac Blister's genes, and their early presentations have been appealing and very fresh examples of vibrant shoegaze.
