The second single off their anticipated debut full length, Son demonstrates the timeless post punk and darkwave properties in the sound of Child of Night, and makes an engaging listen. The song comes with a video produced and directed by James Quinn which comes about like a short horror film.
Child of Night describe the new single: "The song is about getting frustrated and leaving society to start a cult who goes on to kill rich people."
With the moody synths frontwards, the band explore their ability to craft something based on long established post punk values, and leave their noisier industrial qualities at a distance.
The entirety of Child of Night's debut, The Walls At Dawn, comes out on September 26th, 2021; on vinyl through Play Alone Records, on CD through Wave Records and on cassette from Beso De Muerte Records.
