Did You Die: Shine So Real

Just a few months after their great covers EP, Postcards From Paradise, Vancouver shoegazers, Did You Die, surprisingly put out a strong new single. Shine So Real echoes shoegaze staples like Ride through its grabbing jangliness, and sounds like a very fine continuation of the band's steady path. The song will be part of their sophomore album, Thirteen Moons, expected out later in 2020, while the band prepares for their scheduled for next year appearances at SXSW, CMW and Seattle's Seagaze festival.

Shine So Real finds Richie Felix Alexander going back to Vancouver for his permanent residence, and planning to signify his return with something creatively distinguishing. Just like the rest of the album, the new track was recorded by Alexander in a make shift airplane hangar within a massive home in Saanich, British Columbia's Gordon Head neighbourhood.
