Chelsea Wolfe returns with two striking new tracks, The Dark and Death Is Not the End, offering the first glimpse into her upcoming ninth studio album and marking her first new material since 2024’s She Reaches Out to She Reaches Out to She.
Released via Loma Vista Recordings, the songs showcase different sides of Wolfe’s ever-evolving sound. Death Is Not the End unfolds from delicate piano lines and hushed vocals before gradually expanding into something far heavier and emotionally charged. Featuring guitarist Robin Finck and drummer Matt Chamberlain, the track balances fragility and weight with remarkable ease.
The Dark takes a relatively more stripped-back, folk-leaning approach. Built around acoustic fingerpicking and Wolfe’s haunting voice, it slowly gathers momentum before erupting into a powerful finale. The track also features drummer Stella Mozgawa and bassist Justin Meldal-Johnsen.
Together, the two songs reaffirm Wolfe’s ability to move effortlessly between intimacy and intensity, creating art that feels both deeply personal and universal.
The announcement of her largest tour to date, culminating in a final show in Athens, coincides with her long‑awaited return. The special presale begins exclusively through chelseawolfe.com (password: THEDARK).
