ASCENSION is a Midwest-based industrial project that expresses their personal version of doom and deliverance through a rather hard hitting sound. They bring forward a strong instrumental foundation and solid production with modern samplers, sequencers, and synthesizers.
Powered by strong bass and balanced rhythms, as well as layered textures, rich synth work, and introspective lyrics, the project emerges with a lot of charcter and a notable sound palette.
FUNCTION, which pulls inspiration from the work of dark industrial groups such as Skinny Puppy and Front 242, was created utilizing leftover samples from the MALFUNCTION single release, and sounds deep and club-ready.
