Swedish noise rock quartet HUVET are back, and they’re making a quite strong impression with their latest single, Bostadslös. Coming from Eskilstuna, the band has always forged their own path, but their new offering hits with a stark immediacy.
The song is about the struggles of being homeless, a theme delivered with brutal honesty and no sugarcoating. From the first note, Bostadslös hits hard, with guitars that grind with a punk aggression, drums that pummel like being on the edge of collapse, and visceral vocals charged with emotion.
