Ethereal Brooklyn-based goth and dark dreampop band, Silent Mass, has released a new single, The Great Chaos, which is also the title track of their upcoming album set to come out on the Summer Solstice.
According to frontwoman Ammo, the new song "finds beauty in the spiral of self-discovery. It's a love song about mourning a version of your past self."
The track showcases the softer, more melodic aspects of the band's music, while still maintaining the dark, haunting, and gothic qualities that give it a distinctive moody and introspective feel. With each track reveal, The Great Chaos is shaping up to be a formidable album, as Silent Mass continues to define their sound by blending melodic elements with the moodier aspects of their craft.
