Cataliz is the newest track and video unveiled off Nanocluster Vol 1, the anticipated new collaborative album by post punk legends Colin Newman and Malka Spigel's Immersion project. The new track represents the duo's partnership with Robin Rimbaud's Scanner.
Spigel and Newman have been bandmates with Rimbaud, alongside Max Franken, in the art-pop group Githead, yet, this demonstrates a whole different aspect of the profound musicians' vision and artistry.
Cataliz is one of the new album's most atmospheric moments, verging on trip hop and bringing up the project's cinematic inclinations with traces of suspense and mystery included.
