Dark music specialists, Negative Gain, will be releasing Blood in the Disco, the new album by darkwave act, Corlyx, in January 2022, introduced by The Echo, a vibrant and sentimental track in which vocalist and producer Caitlin Stokes found curative release after the passing of her mother.
The new single comes with an accordingly electrifying video composed of alluring goth visuals, directed by Stokes and Twisted Eye Photography.
Without diverting much from the post punk nature of their previous album, Together Apart, the new song is also indicative of the industrial/synthpop/electro-heavy character of Corlyx's early independent offerings.
