ZAHN: Pavian

Instrumental noise rockers, ZAHN, are consist of Nic Stockmann (Heads., ex-Eisenvater), Chris Breuer (Heads., ex-The Ocean) and Felix Gebhard (live-Einstürzende Neubauten). Their first offerings arrive as a cohesive and immersive mixture of heavy rock, dark post punk and krautrock, instrumentally potent and doing excellent use of repetitiveness and dense composition.

Alexander Hacke of the great Einstürzende Neubauten outlines the fresh band as "loud and mean, beguiling and enchanted, highly conceptual and completely chaotic. It's nice that at least they know what to do."

The self-titled album by ZAHN is expected out on August 20th, 2020 by Crazysane Records, and the memorable riffage of first single, Pavian, introduces the band's relentlessness as well as their finesse. The track comes with an interesting concept, and a bizarre, yet, fun looking video.

ZAHN describe: "An observation of the male species, human and/or anthropoid. The strange rites of alpha male leisure activities and/or sports."
