Hideous Sun Demon: Squitter

Australian trio, Hideous Sun Demon, return with a very lively single, a two and a half-minute number with a humorous flavor, coming by way of a pretty fervent and solid performance.

Squitter is based on an unpleasant circumstance HDS frontman Vincent Buchanan-Simpson had one January morning whilst walking by the river, and it's a relentless piece of frank punk rock which proves that even the most inconsiderable or the smallest things in life can provide inspiration for substantial and moving art.

Slanted less on the psych rock properties of their songwriting, Hideous Sun Demon, carry off their punk rock very convincingly, and once more they strike forcibly in all directions.
