Disq: Daily Routine

Mingling a guitar driven garage rock sound with power pop sensibility in an all round sharp indie rock special, Madison, Wisconsin quintet, Disq, are not at all shy with the fuzz, and prepare for the release of their promising debut, expected in March through the much trustworthy, Saddle Creek Records.

Album opener, Daily Routine, is a witty and super loud, riff-heavy rock cut which expresses the band’s evident youthfulness, their strong prospects and the gutsy traits of their art.

The song is paired to a fun clip, directed by coool (John TerEick and Jake Nokovic), starring the band, and smartly stylized as a retro TV show which channels a sort of an amusing sitcom, but also throws a curve with its startling conclusion.

Collector, the band’s first album, arrives March 6th, 2020.
