Bad Flamingo: The House Is on Fire

Where modern Americana and desert rock meet with traditional country, blues and soul, enigmatic duo, Bad Flamingo, have tunes which feel casual and recognizable as if they'd been around for decades, but which still sound crisp and original, rightful for present-day consumption and going further on that the genre's boundaries.

The House Is on Fire is the band's latest single release, a three-minute piece that comes along the lines of the band's recent cuts, Fire and Open the Gates, minimal and honest, but instrumentally wealthy with a wah-wah and theremin in prominent roles, and a vocal performance which covers more range and feels more daring than anything from the band's path up to that point.
