Season 2 of Yellowstone, the successful TV drama starring Kevin Costner, just concluded, and the consistently rising contemporary country duo, Bad Flamingo, were on it again with a couple of pieces of their very much expressive and soulful take on traditional Americana.
Fire is an indelible four-minute exemplar of traditional, R&B-inclined country pop and rock 'n' roll finesse which channels more than a few timeless classics, but at the same time emerges indicative of Bad Flamingo's perfectly constructed instrumentation, and the characterful zest in their delivery, all warm and fiery like the song's title suggests.
