Chris Carter and Cosey Fanni Tutti have been partners in what feels like forever, having graced the world with some of the darkest and most pioneering industrial music ever, through innovatory acts, such as COUM Transmissions, Throbbing Gristle and Chris And Cosey. As Carter Tutti Void, alongside Nik Void (Factory Floor / NVPR) they released Transverse in 2012 on Mute, and f(x) in 2015 through Industrial Records, and are now gearing up for the third and final installment of their collaboration. Triumvirate will be out on August 30th, 2019 via Conspiracy International, home of Chris and Cosey since 1982.
The trio have just unveiled an edit of their new piece, t3.5, which presents the trio in full on pulsating, dark and seductive electronica mode.
The upcoming album was recorded, produced and mastered at Carter and Tutti’s Studio47 in Norfolk, where Carter laid out the foundation for the tracks, expanded by Tutti's live instrumentation and finalized by Void’s cutting guitars, vocals and effect; all put together in accordance to the distinctive improvisational spirit of Carter Tutti Void's earlier releases.
