HOTEI: Walking Through The Night f/ Iggy Pop // Video



You may remember Tomoyasu Hotei from back in 2003 when Quentin Tarantino selected his track, Battle Without Honor Or Humanity, to be included in the Kill Bill film and soundtrack. Hotei never stopped being popular in his home, Japan, on the contrary, out there he is an iconic and much celebrated artist, however he decided to move to London in 2012 in an attempt to give his international career a boost.

His 2015 album, Strangers, features collaborations with artists such as Richard Z. Kruspe from Rammstein, Matt Tuck from Bullet For My Valentine, Noko from Apollo 440, Texas singer Shea Seger, and of course Iggy Pop. Hotei's collaboration with Iggy is titled Walking Through The Night and it has a fresh accompanying music video directed by Tonomi Okamura, which depicts in part the nightlife of the beautiful Tokyo, enhanced with some traditional Japanese fantasy that involves swords and Samurais...
