Bleached Heat is a Vancouver Island-based Welsh darkwave act. Against the Wall became Bleached Heat's come back to producing music and the follow-up to 2020's full length Bleakism. After relocating from the United Kingdom to Western Canada, the artist took a break to focus on establishing a new life.
With a propulsive darkwave approach, the song perfectly complements the bleak lustre of bands like Drab Majesty, Cold Cave, and Ritual Howls, revealing an inspired dark act with a lot to offer.
Bleached Heat explains: "Refreshed and as tired of the world as ever, Against the Wall is my first foray into DAW recording, having previously recorded everything on a four track cassette machine, the song delves into themes of helplnessness and despair and was written/recorded and mixed in four hours."
