Post metal trio, Gavran, return with the rather heavy, atmospheric and imposing Dvorac, the first single from their upcoming album, Indistinct Beacon, expected out on dunk!records in December 2022. The new track is mixed by Tim de Gieter (Amenra, Doodseskader), and mastered by Jack Shirley (Deafheaven, Oathbreaker).
"Dvorac is essentially about togetherness in a divided world," the band say, unleashing a massive piece with a ten-minute expansion and heavy rock immensity which fits the theme.
The detailed instrumentals are highlighted by absolutely immaculate production, while the poignant lyrics provide the music with an introspective and sophisticated substance, ultimately resulting in a paradigm for current sludge, doom and extreme metal, and placing Gavran among the heavy underground's very finest.
