Kid Dakota: Futurecide

Having earned the seal of approval of Low's Alan Sparhawk among many others of his peers, and with six full length records under his belt, Minneapolis indie rock act, Kid Dakota, helmed by musician Darren Jackson has come to a high point with the latest album, Age of Roaches, recently released through Graveface Records.

Although the album isn't themed on the pandemic, its concept comes close to the uncertainty of the current times, going through dark subjects which suggest unease and concern, painting a picture of a post apocalyptic world that mirrors reality dangerously close.

Album highlight and video, Futurecide, leans on the lighter side of the heftiness in Age of Roaches, and showcases the album's heterogeneity through an easier to fathom but always eclectic approach.
