Magic Cobra: How Do You Feel?

Philadelphia psych rockers, Magic Cobra, are fresh from the release of a fine self titled five-song EP, off which comes How Do You Feel?, a kaleidoscopic psychedelic garage rocker. Although the song appears rather accessible, it feels like something lifted from the underground depths of the genre's late sixties and seventies period.

Bringing to mind the similarly titled song by The Creation, How Does It Feel To Feel from 1966 which became much more approachable in the mid-nineties through Ride's take, the new song comes totally characteristic of Magic Cobra's splendidly constructed sound, and exhibits part of the band's flirtation with fuzzy and even shoegaze-bent garage rock.

The debut EP by Magic Cobra was recorded at Spice House Sound and Underground LSD Lab Audio in Philadelphia, and mastered by super producer, Kramer, and it's out through Sister Raygun Records.
