Chromatics have announced a tour and shared a new video for a brand new single, further indicating that the long awaited follow up to 2012's Kill For Love, most likely the new version of the lost Dear Tommy album, might be drawing near.
Time Rider is slow, monotonous, glittery, and dreamlike, evoking thoughts of the band's earlier work, pre-Kill for Love, and very close to 2007's Night Drive when they took that hard turn toward the synthpop sound with which they stood out later.
The self-made video is a celebration of vivid, saturated colors, psychedelic imagery and cinematic aesthetics, like always providing perfect accompaniment to the music's elegance.
