Be Forest: Bengala

Having stayed in seclusion for the past few years in order to create their anticipated third full-length, Italian shoegaze/post punk trio, Be Forest, announce the release of Knocturne, their next album, scheduled to come out on February 8th, 2019 via the Italian-American imprint, We Were Never Being Boring (aka WWNBB Collective).

Bengala is the first single that surfaces off the coming LP, a powerful mixture of hazy dreampop and dark post punk, whose imposing production carries the unquestionable technical abilities of co-producer, Steve Scanu and mastering by Josh Bonati (Mac DeMarco, Zola Jesus, David Lynch). The song is the band's impressive return to action and first piece of music since their 2016 single, Glow. Knocturne will be following Be Forest's previous full length, Earthbeat, which came out early 2014.

"Bengala is the spotlight that lights up the stage after the curtains open; a celestial body which at the moment of its impact allows us to glimpse our surroundings -- it's the brightest point, the north of the compass," the band describe. "This is, though, only ONE of the coordinates of Knocturne. Perhaps the most reassuring."
