D//E Premiere: Swine Tax: Conversation

For anyone who has ever felt worn out by the awfulness of small talk, a situation specially obvious during the Holidays, Newcastle's Swine Tax come up with a lively single, suggestive of the wit and clever songwriting that has made the band stand out from the very early stages of their musical path.

Conversation draws inspiration from nineties' US indie rock, emerging like the bright and playful piece that it evidently is, backed by some razor sharp guitars and spirited drumwork, elements that shine among the overall bold instrumentation and deft production. On top of everything else the song never stops sounding confident and artful with words, as expected based on the majority of the band's previous work.

As an addition to their so far impressive recordings. Swine Tax have built a reputation as a prominent live act, having shared stages with acts like The Orielles, Brix & the Extricated, Bully, Jeffrey Lewis, Shopping, The Nightingales, Spiral Stairs (of Pavement) and more.

Conversation releases December 14th, 2018, and it streams for the first time ever right below.
