Hit Bargain: Hell Is Real

Although the individual members of Hit Bargain derive from acts better known for sounds and aesthetics that gravitate more towards dreampop, post punk or even experimental noise rock, this LA-based quartet comes with a direct, yet, very artistic punk approach, thought-provoking themes and a radical spirit.

Hit Bargain consist of members from The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Cold Beat, These Are Powers, and Beach Fossils. Their debut album, Potential Maximizer, comes out on May 11th via Buzz Records. Its latest single bears the crude title, Hell Is Real, and its lyrics revolve around xenophobia and capitalist complacency, inspired by singer Nora Singh's times of "self-imposed exile" in Ohio.
