A Festival, A Parade: Cold Shower



Newcastle four-piece, A Festival, A Parade have just revealed the first cut off their forthcoming EP, Stay Away From Me, due out this autumn on Tipping Point Records.

Carrying the indie rock somberness and intimacy akin to acts like The National, and blended with a guitar-driven approach which embraces the nerve and melancholy respectively found in post punk and post rock, Cold Shower is a weighty, vigorous track which showcases the band's technical dexterity, and multifaceted sound.

"Cold Shower is a song which takes a twisted look at endurance, empathy, and the chaos that could ensue when any even-tempered individual is pushed to their boiling point," the band's frontman, Joe  Allan,comments.

A Festival, A Parade will be supporting their upcoming release with appearances at The Great Escape and Meet The North. Check out the dates below.
