Up and coming dreampop six-piece, La Fonda come from Seattle, WA and are led by sisters, Veronica and Valerie Topacio. The band is currently in preparations for a tour across the United States and also the release of their self-titled album which will be coming out in the Fall of 2018.
La Fonda's newest single, In The Summer, is a tuneful piece founded on the sisters' mellow and beautifully harmonized vocals, and elevated by the rich instrumentation which includes surf rock inspired guitars, enhancing layers of synth, as well as a competent, energetic rhythm section that brings everything together in a seamless manner.
Even though La Fonda derive from a place which isn't exactly known for its summery spirit, the band's warmth sounds heart and soul convincing, while it builds up much promise in regards to their future endeavors.
