Irene Svendsen’s soft, soothing vocals provide a counterweight to the gathering intensity. She describes the track: "The song ‘Capsule’ is about making a conscious choice about what you let into your life and, ultimately, what becomes part of you. We are far more easily influenced than we like to think. The people we surround ourselves with, what we read, what we scroll through online, and how we choose to spend our time all shape who we become.”
With their upcoming album scheduled for release in late November, Capsule takes Tic Tic into darker territory while circling themes of identity, time and memory. Its title track expresses these notions through a gradual transformation of its own, moving from weight and restraint toward an energetic final stretch.
