Shelley X's melancholic voice drifts through theGloom's cold production, bringing a fragile human warmth to its industrial surroundings.
The song traces the lingering glow of an intense connection and the defensive distance required to survive its aftermath. Familiar feelings remain dangerously close, creating tension between the desire to preserve what was meaningful and the need to avoid being pulled completely back inside it.
