Italian psych-gaze trio CLUSTERSUN introduce their forthcoming album Anti You with Fire! Fire! Fire!, a furious blend of shoegaze, post punk and psychedelic-tinged noise rock. Jagged guitars, relentless percussion and mesmeric repetition drive the song toward a state of near-collapse, evoking A Place To Bury Strangers at their most crushing.
Originally drafted at the end of the sessions for 2021’s Avalanche, the track found its true shape onstage, closing almost every show of the band’s subsequent three-and-a-half-year European tour. Fire becomes both seducer and threat in the lyrics, promising neither salvation nor renewal, only dissolution.
Directed by CLUSTERSUN drummer Andrea Conti, the accompanying video pairs rapid, hallucinatory editing with vivid psychedelic visuals, presenting the band at the center of an immersive and deeply surreal performance.
Anti You arrives March 5th, 2027 through Sister 9 Recordings in the UK and Vina Records in Italy.
