Underground industrial force and D//E favorite Lana Del Rabies returns with Annihilate, arguably her most accessible track to date. Accessibility should be understood in relative terms, however, as the piece remains dark, ominous and cutting, demanding a certain nerve from anyone entering its world.
Against the extreme experimentation that has defined her work so far, Annihilate feels capable of reaching a broader, if still resolutely dark-minded audience.
It follows a prolific 2025 in which Lana Del Rabies founded the art-focused Feral Crone Recordings and released two boundary-pushing EPs, Le Temps Viendra and Omnipotent Fuck.
A new studio album made with former members of experimental black metal band Hissing is expected in 2027.
