Iceblynk introduce their forthcoming Boab EP with Rememory, an upbeat yet distinctly moody track that blurs the boundaries between dreampop, shoegaze and post punk. Already a standard of the band’s live set, the song now arrives as the record’s atmospheric centerpiece.
Vibrant synthesizers establish its momentum from the opening moments, driving the arrangement forward while guitars and vocals gather around them in luminous layers. The result feels simultaneously classic and imposing, recalling the melodic propulsion of New Order without allowing that influence to overwhelm Iceblynk’s own identity.
Rememory thrives on emotional contrast. Its rhythm encourages movement, but melancholy remains suspended within the surrounding haze, giving the track a depth that outlasts its immediate appeal. It is bright and nostalgic without sounding trapped in the past.
Iceblynk consists of guitarist Martin Newman, vocalist Andrea Lynn and bassist James Newman. Alongside Rememory, Boab includes a reimagined version of the previously unreleased Never Ready and two remixes.
