Eric Angelo Bessel unveils Book of Astrology, the second single and video from his solo album Illusion of an Inland Ocean, released September 29th, 2026. Oneiric and quietly assured, the composition unfolds as a continuous drift through clouds of wistfulness, its calm movement carrying an unusual sense of trust and emotional certainty.
Created with Mellotrons, guitars and richly textured analogue processing, the track develops through delicate layering and gradual transformation. Its melodies follow the unhurried logic of changing weather, inviting sustained attention rather than guiding the listener toward a fixed destination.
Based in Portland, the American-German composer, producer and visual artist continues to explore the space where dreams, memory, landscape and observation converge.
