Body Stuff channel memory and hard-won possibility into The World Is Yours, a driving metallic rocker built around Curran Reynolds’ recollections of past travels. The single carries the restless energy of movement while looking back at the places and experiences that continue to shape him.
He states: “This is a song about traveling the world, playing in a band. When you’re on tour, the world shrinks. The outside becomes your home and the unfamiliar becomes familiar. This song reminisces proudly on places seen and people met. London, Paris, Tallahassee ... But the ego trip fades into the realization that everyone has their own story and they’re all of equal value. My story is one little part of the bigger story.”
Massive drums push the track forward as Andee Blacksugar’s guitars alternate between attack and gleaming melody. Hair metal excess and post punk austerity meet within the arrangement, producing a sound that feels distinctly New York, being physical and unafraid of grandeur.
The World Is Yours is another preview off Body Stuff 5, the project’s upcoming album. Engineered and mixed by longtime collaborator Ryan Jones and mastered by Ted Jensen, yhe record arrives October 16th, 2026.
