A Very Special Episode: Too Cool

Brooklyn trio A Very Special Episode capture the disorienting hours after the outing with their new single Too Cool. Beneath the alluring nightlife imagery lies the creeping realization that the thrill has already begun to dissolve.

Abrasive guitars collide with an infectious, danceable groove as the track moves between nervy energy and a more exposed sense of melancholy. Desire remains close at hand, yet so do insecurity and emotional distance. The repeated admission of one's coolness reveals the self-doubt beneath the attraction, turning apparent indifference into an uncomfortably human defense mechanism.

Too Cool closes the New York trio’s five-track AVSE EP, and the band describes it as "the shadowy reflection of "But I’m a… Starr." The release contains four original tracks, as well as a surprise cover of Ringo Deathstarr's Guilt.
