Los Angeles slowcore band Bondo share Zuma, the latest track from their upcoming self titled album, arriving July 24th, 2026.
“About being alone at night on the beach thinkin,” the band says of the song. Zuma expresses that solitary setting with precision, unfolding through unhurried rhythms, restrained guitars and a sense of melancholy that permeates everything. Its slowcore sentimentality feels intimate and affecting, carrying the weight of thoughts that tend to surface when the night grows still and there is nowhere left to turn but inward.
The song continues the strong path toward the new record, revealing a band increasingly comfortable with space, patience and emotional restraint. Judging by everything heard so far, Bondo is shaping up to be the band’s most cohesive, fully realized and rewarding release yet.
