Sun Within return with Luminous Events, a fierce new single lifted from the band's upcoming seven-inch EP, due out June 19th, 2026 via DC label Exotic Fever Records. Blending the grit of post hardcore, math rock, as well as power pop, the trio channels the restless energy and heaviness of bands like 7 Year B*tch and Drive Like Jehu into a track that's both abrasive and deeply melodic.
All proceeds from the single's Bandcamp sales will benefit the Philly Goat Project, the sanctuary where the accompanying video was filmed.
The band’s Geeta Simons says: “The song is a testament to the upward spiral of positivity that becomes possible when friends join together as creative forces in spite of all of the “in spite ofs”; we choose inspiration in the face of adversity.
