Brit underground outfit So, Reverie lean into a more open, accessible sound on their new single Days Go By, arriving alongside a finely crafted video. The track still carries the band’s dreampop sensibility, but broadens its reach with a warmer, more immediate approach to songwriting and tone.
The band set out to shape something with a different energy from their previous work, revisiting the indie rock records with which they grew up.
They explain: "Days Go By is a tune we set out to create with a slightly different feel to our other tracks. I was really influenced by revisiting many of the 00s and 2010s Indie Rock anthems me and Cain grew up on and how nostalgic they made us feel, particularly tracks from groups like the Bloc Party, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and The Night Cafe. For me, it’s an era that’s really close to my heart and is engrained in the musical foundations of So, Reverie as much as any of the other genres you would associate us with from the outside looking in."
So, Reverie, made up of Andy Power (guitar, vocals) and Cain Garcia (guitar, drums), are set to release their six-track debut EP in summer 2026.
