Tina Fey is a three-piece heavy band from Cincinnati, Ohio. They have kept a low profile during the past year, concentrated on composing new songs and recording a new album, and are now prepared to return to the stage. They have barely performed a few times since their 2024 tour with Doom Beach. The group came together in 2022 when Eunoia broke up.
After a few lineup changes, the group settled into a strong core that shaped this latest record. It was around the In Living Memory EP that Tina Fey found a clear sense of direction and a sound that felt fully their own.
Strigo embodies that self-assurance. The track maintains their confidence and groundedness while pushing their edge farther. The band states that it is based on a multi-layered concept: "This song is all about the solidarity/love felt between friends, and ultimately what must be done in order to maintain long-term friendship in the world today. It’s also about what a bird flying over would see while these events take place. The title is the Esperanto word for “owl.”"
