Unverkalt are gearing up to unveil their most fully realized work to date in the form of a new full length. Anticipation for Héréditaire has steadily grown, following the strength of the band's previous releases. This time, Unverkalt lean into a deeply sentimental and immersive sound, steeped in heaviness while unveiling their new material through striking singles and visuals that point to a carefully crafted, cohesive artistic vision.
The latest single, Introjects, stands as a mighty example of that vision in action. Intense and visually compelling, the track explores the shedding of beliefs that were never truly our own, ideas inherited like a generational disease and carried unconsciously through time.
One of the band's most distinctive and alluring features is still Dimitra Kalavrezou's currently blackened vocals, which are counterbalanced by her elusive clean passages.
Héréditaire will be released on February 27th, 2026 via Season of Mist.
