A Place To Bury Strangers have announced their new rarities album, Rare and Deadly, out April 3rd, 2026 on Dedstrange, alongside the release of new single, Everyone’s The Same.
Rare and Deadly unlocks a decade's worth of pure passion and anarchy from the band. The compilation spans 2015-2025 and includes demos, B-sides, discarded experiments, and lost scraps, representing A Place To Bury Strangers at their most raw and spontaneous.
In true APTBS fashion, the band once again takes an unconventional approach to the release. Rare and Deadly will arrive in four different formats, CD, cassette, vinyl, and digital, with each version featuring a completely unique tracklist. It’s an almost unheard-of strategy that defiantly rejects industry norms. No single format represents the “complete” album; instead, each one offers a different window into the band’s archive.
Everyone’s The Same is a noisy, experimental piece that deliberately strays from convention, embodying the restless, boundary-pushing mindset that defines the band. Its rawness and unpredictability serve as a reminder of what makes A Place To Bury Strangers so compelling. This authenticity is exactly what we want to see and hear from the band. This is how we like them best.
