Silk Daisys is a dreampop/post punk project from Atlanta, GA. Their debut album, due out later this year, was engineered by Damon Moon of Bathe Alone and mastered by Mark Gardener of shoegaze greats Ride. The band’s lush and emotive soundscapes are presented in enjoyable detail in their latest single, Haunted House, a Halloween-inspired track which channels the essence of classic shoegaze.
Moody, immersive, and beautifully atmospheric, the song brings forward swirling layers of haze and a touch of autumnal melancholy, as it finely captures both the wistfulness of the season and the genre’s timeless allure. It’s an engaging glimpse of a band in top form early in their path, and realizing their full potential.
