Dark metal band Cultic unveil Nomad, the hard hitting and impressive new single from their upcoming album, Lore.
Forged in early death-doom, first-wave black metal, and pure punk rock energy, Cultic channel the grim spirit of Celtic Frost and Hellhammer, and then push it further with sheer theatrical force and razor-sharp musicianship.
Formed in 2016 in York, Pennsylvania by husband-and-wife duo Brian Magar (guitar, vocals) and Rebecca Magar (drums), the band prepares to unleash a new full length in 2025 via Crucial Blast.
Their latest single, Nomad, is described by the band as a dungeon metal anthem, a tale of a lone warrior stealing ancient secrets from a dying kingdom. Driven by churning riffs, pounding war drums, and a primal call to break the chains, the track cements Cultic’s reputation built by their well received previous albums as purveyors of battle-ready darkness.
