Truce is the first track from Amends, the debut full length by Denver-based band Circling Over. Since forming in 2022, Circling Over has been writing and recording their own take on genre-defying music.
The band fuses ambient soundscapes with soaring melodies. Their amalgamation of genres incluedes post metal and post rock with shoegaze influences, creating a sound that is powerful and cinematic. At the same time, their compositions draw on every shade of heaviness, from progressive metal to sludge, while remaining rooted in underground styles.
In 2025, Circling Over signed with Braeburn Records to release Amends.
Album opener, Truce, embodies the sentimentality, weight, and darkness at the heart of Circling Over’s sound, and becomes a commanding introduction to a colossal-sounding debut.
