Incel Halloween is the latest single from Boston shoegaze newcomers Slow Quit, taken from their upcoming debut album, out August 1st, 2025 via Pleasure Tapes, home to acts like TAGABOW, Her New Knife, and Knifeplay. The band has also shared a music video for the track, rich with dreamy melodicism and a poignant, melancholic atmosphere.
Slow Quit’s take on shoegaze is remarkably refined, showcasing a sound which is both and emotionally resonant. Though still early in their emergence, the material they have released so far is nothing short of essential listening for genre enthusiasts.
The new single and video are both outstanding, as Slow Quit have set very high expectations for what’s to come from the band.
