bloom effect is a transatlantic shoegaze trio composed of Argentine vocalist/bassist Jula Lafit, British guitarist Craig Weighman, and drummer Tom Rappa.
Their sound is a hypnotic blend of reverb-laden shoegaze, dreampop and new wave with fuzzy textures, delivering emotionally resonant melodies. Their sound has an atmospheric character while their lyrics drift between English and Spanish as the band produced immersive sounds where weightless tones meet wistful depth.
