WILL LAUT: Lost & Found

WILL LAUT is an experimental project with a multifaceted sound and an intriguingly creative approach, blending elements of ambient pop, noir minimalism, and synth-based avant-gardism. Their music is characterized by atmospheric layers, minimalist rhythms, and evocative lyrics delivered in a moody and mesmeric crooner style.

Founded in Los Angeles and Paris, WILL LAUT is spearheaded by Frankie Gothard, also known as COH, renowned for his contributions to the avant-garde computer music scene of the late nineties. Drawing inspiration from COH's past projects with vocalists such as John Balance of Coil, Cosey Fanni Tutti of Throbbing Gristle, and fashion designer Ann Demeulemeester, the duo creates a distinct sound.

WILL LAUT is fronted by vocalist William Laut, at one point a contestant for Eurovision, whose experiences range from collaborating with children's choirs to composing rock songs and organizing Asian music showcase festivals.

The most recent release from the project, the single and accompanying video, Lost & Found, showcases a intriguing blend of immersive electronic exploration and emotive vocals. The track weaves smooth eloquence with elements of eeriness and apprehension, producing an curious sonic landscape which is defined by its impeccable production.
