Bind emerges as the second single from Russian Baths' upcoming album, Mirror, set for release on June 14th, 2024, via Good Eye Records. The song is produced and mixed by Jeff Berner (Psychic TV, Activity, Stuy) and mastered by Sarah Register (Protomartyr, Kim Gordon, Wye Oak).
The track comes with a sinister quality, translating the project's dreampop and post punk properties into a composition which feels simultaneously unsettling, raw, and surreal, maintaining a consistently dark ambiance throughout.
The band comments: "It's all a sinking ship that keeps pressing onward. The lyrics seem to touch on historical grievances, from witch hunts to trials at sea, all of them connected by misguided vengeance desperate to escape the past but doomed to repeat it."
