Bad Run becomes the final single preceding the unveiling of Toil, the upcoming second album by Norwegian band, Oberst, scheduled for release on April 26th, 2024. The song is an energetic modern metal track, merging atmospheric melodies with powerful vocals. Following the success of their first album Paradise in 2020, Oberst continue to explore new territories with their songwriting and overall sound.
Regarding the latest single, Oberst reflect: “At some point you can’t be bothered with getting back up. Blow after blow makes an old dog bitter, and that is perfectly fine. From what we’ve heard there is quite the show at the end, as your life flashes before your eyes like it’s fucking new years eve.”
